Vicodin Addiction: Methadone Facts

Question: Husbands vicodin addiction question?

My husband has had a vicodin problem for the last 20 months. He took 5 or so pills a day. I found out 2 weeks ago and it was a relief to him. He quit cold turkey. He had withdrawls for the first week, but, then he started talking about how great he felt. He said he hadn't felt this good in two years and he was so glad I found out and that he was able to quit. Now, he told me that even though he doesn't want the pills anymore he is starting to feel tired again. It is a let down to him because he had been feeling so great. Is this normal? Is there anything he can do to feel less tired or is this just normal life now?

I too had an opiate addiction for years. After quitting I had bouts of fatigue. I started a good excersise regimen and became conscious of what I put in my body and I have mountains of energy now. His body is trying to heal. You may also consider a liver enzyme test to insure no permanent damage has been done.

Exercise and Eating healthy will make him feel better... Maybe get some type of super food with lots of good vitamins in it and maybe he even needs to do a colon cleanse and detox.. Check with your Dr.first... You must always say that.....But exercise and some thing to keep his mind off the drugs and thinking that they gave him energy.. Good luck.. : )

HE NEEDS A MENTAL CLINIC TO NURSE HIM BACK TO WHOLESOME HEALTH.....NORMAL > >???? WHATS NORMAL ?? I SAY HE NEEDS HELP......GET HIM TO THE CLINIC,., UND DO IT TODAY....HE IS AT RISK FOR RELAPSE....IT IS COMMON....GET PRUDENT UND APPLY YOURSELF TO HEALTHY LIVING NOW. the mans got an addiction...YES AN ADDICTION FOR GODS SAKE!!!
