I think this is the first step, finally admitting that I have a problem.If I go one day without these, I feel like a wreck. I don't want to get out of bed, I'm sore all over, I get cold very easily, my nose is always running, and I'm overly depressed. But when I pop a few of these, I feel so much better. When ever I get my hands on them, I take anywhere from 10 20 a day. I really think I need help, I have been stealing them from family, or blowing all my money on them, I just don't know what to do about it, I need help.I know suboxone is prescribed for oxycontin addiction, would they prescribe this for vicdodin addiction too?

I KNOW THIS IS LONG BUT PLEASE READ I NEED SERIOUS HELP .I have been addicted to vicodin for 6 months. I was taking up to 10 a day. Now i have been weaning myself off only taking 4 a day. I have a two week vacation coming up at work and im gonna use that time to quit completly. My question is how bad are the withdrawls gonna be and is two weeks long enough to get off of the vicodin? What is to be expected while quitting? Have any of you ever gone through this. Please any advice will be of great help. By the way, nobody in my family knows about this addiction thats why i have to get clean at home and i cant go to rehab.

I have pain in my back all the time and i was prescribed vicodin. i have been taking it for about 2 months, but im soo sad and depressed when im not on it. I cant get happy unless i have it, and i know its because of dopamine and stuff.my question is, does tylenol extra strength mess with my dopamine also? cause that helps with the pain too and i would rather take that and be able to get happy again

I have fibromyalgia and im in pain all the time. I was prescribed vicodin for the pain at first before i was diagnosed and since then i have gotten heavily addicted to them. I take a total of 30 35mg of hydrocodone a day. 4 or 5, 7.5mg pills at a time about 4 times a day I have been trying to quit for a long time and i cant seem to do it alone. please any advice would help and please do not judge me or be rude because i am trying to get help and i do not do any other drugs. i would also like to know if anyone know another alternative way to manage my fibromyalgia pain without medication because i do not have health insurance and can not afford a doctors appointment because i spend over $1500 on vicodin a month i have heard that suboxone would work but i have not tried it yet...i would like to know where to go for the " Waismann Method" i live in michigan... can someone help?

I'm a 22 year old female trying to kick a 2 year long vicodin addiction. I'm not sure what kind of physician to see or where to go. There are outpatient clinics that specialize in addiction and I also have a psychiatrist but both of whom are unable to see me for another month.
