Anything you can tell me about it would be great. It would be awesome to actually talk to someone who's gone through it??

I haven't gone through it, but have read quite a bit about it & talked to several people who have. Please save your money. The general consensus after discussing this with many people is that people still wake up horribly sick usually. Ask anyone who's been in the game a long time and they will tell you that kicking, as much as it sucks is the easy part. It does nothing to change your mode of thinking, help with the months of secondary depression/ re-adjusting etc. When people do relapse after going through this procedure they feel that much more awful - considering most don't have 10k to throw away. Not trying to discourage you, I just feel that for the cost, typically around 10k or more it doesn't do much if anything. Basically they put you under anesthesia, then they precipitatete WD. Meaning they'll give you something to rip any opiates off your receptors sending you into an instant and even more painful WD. Precipitated WD is much more uncomfortable & harder on your system. Whether or not it's very safe in my opinion is still to be seen. Waismann boasts phony inflated statistics that NO detox program has. Sure, they'll knock you out and precipate WD, then load you up on naltrexone so you can't get high so you might be a little more likely to last through WD because you wont be ABLE to get high for a little while for 10k but not much else. You'll go home relatively soon after the procedure and will be up to you to not only stay clean but finish detoxing first. The belief that you wont feel pain is a complete crock. Most people feel just as bad as if they had detox'd. At best you might not feel quite as bad during the brief time you're asleep, which isn't very long in the grand scheme of things. There was also some doctor (not related to the waismann practice) who apparently had several patients die doing this rapid detox a while back. doctordeluca.com/ Documents/ UROD_MDs_License.htm An experience with rapid detox. atwatchdog.org/ opinion_aurod.html If you want to discuss this with others, check out a related forum, like stopdrugprohibition.com/ Community
