Can anybody give some support to a gal who is going through narcotic addiction treatment with Suboxone?
I also have a Yahoo Group called 'Jenn's Phenomenal Women' if anyone is interested in joining. We can all help each other through such a hard time. Thanks in advance to everyone I have started taking Suboxone on Feb 12th and have been drug free ever since, however, I have been having cravings and I am afraid I might relapse. Any advice from someone who is in my same situation? I also, have extreme anxiety, and I find it hard to control since my docs won't give me any anti anxiety meds except Atarax which is a fancy name for benadryl

I'm scared of my boyfriends narcotic addiction, help me?
He's 17 and suffered from a heart condition, the doctors said that it was temporary and it disappeared seven months after he was diagnosed with it, but it left his chest area weak and painful. He was given morphine to help with the pain but when I went to his house I found empty bottles of Vicodin and fentanyl or something like that hidden in one of his drawers.I tried to back off him for a bit to give him some room but it didn't help him at all. Sometimes he completely ignores me and stays home from college for days, he's also starting to switch doctors and complaining that he's too cold when it was summer. I tried to get him to stop but he keeps saying he has no problem. He isn't violent or anything if that matters. I miss him for what he used to be and when we were really in love, can anyone give me any help?As far as I know his doctor only gave him morphine.

Are you a victim of prescription narcotic addiction?
I am a victim of the abuse of narcotic prescriptions by doctors. They dont want to find the real problem because that would take time away from making money seeing other patients so they write you a script and tell you that it is safe as long as you take it as directed. They do not inform you that in time your body will develope a tolerance and will require more to do the same job. When you come in to the office complaining that the meds. don't work as well anymore, the doctor calls you an addict, strips the script away from you without weaning you off and tells you to go to a rehab clinic like you purposely got addicted It is unbeleavable the way they create addicts and then refuse to help them. Does anyone have a similar story? To cr2815, please e mail me at jarecksga ma yahoo.com I am now on methadone at almost $400 amo. also. Although the methadone saved my life, I 'm angry

Help with mates narcotic addiction?
So my mate was involved in a car crash two years ago, it severely damaged his chest muscles which healed fully healed within four months. However, the doctor told him that a lot of his nerves were left damaged during the crash or something so he's being on morphine legally for the past two years. In the past two months he's started to change dramatically he's started treating his girlfriend like sh t to be honest, excuse the language. He dumped her for being 'there too much', I think he's blocked her on facebook and bebo etc. as well. I haven't properly spoken to him for around two weeks, which is unusual for him. The last time I saw him he was smoking and put it out on his hand without showing any sign of pain, I mean it was really creepy. His vision's gone really bad, he had to put a leaflet around up to an inch of his face to fully read it. His fingers and knuckles are covered in small cuts like he's been punching a solid surface. He used to be really talkative and sociable, now it's like he's cutting himself off from the rest of the world. Recently he's started complaining about his chest pain getting worse and he goes to the doctors about once a week from what he's told me but I think he goes more times than that since sometimes I see him in town sometimes while I'm at work going into the pharmacy, pretty much about three times a week.I don't know whether he's acting like this because he says his pain's getting worse or my suspicions are right and he's seriously addicted to morphine, but I know he needs someone to talk some sense into him but at the moment I'm the only connection he's really got so I don't want to annoy him. What should I do?

In 2 weeks my sister will be flying down to stay with me for a month to recover. She currently takes smokes Hydrocodone and Oxyconten and has been addicted for over a year. I am just trying to get some recovery advise, anything will help. How long might she be sick, what to look out for, foods or herbs that help, things like that. I just want to be prepared to help her as much as I can while she goes through this. Thanks,
