Stay with it, you're doing all the right things with the vitamins and water ;don't drink more than 2 litres per day and make sure it's a good quality multi vitamin and mineral supplement tha you're taking. Methadone takes a while to get over for reasons to do with it's effect on your brain chemistry. The 'flu like symptoms and other generalised sickness and pain are a result of your brains ablility to produce its' own endorphins being compromised. Normal functioning of the brain produces endorphins which are like natural painkillers. When we are addicted to opioids this function ceases because the receptors in the brain get used to the introduced drug(e.g. methadone) and the transmitters stop producing because there is no demand. It takes a while for this function to get back to normal. If you can start working out or running this will speed up the recovery. If not just lie low for a wee while, but not too long. Good luck! I wish you the very best and I mean that from the depths of my heart!
