Ok, I just recently posted a question about how to disable a vehicle, well the friend had been a very heavy drug addict all his life, and methadone was one of the drugs he abused, he also had other things going on like Hepatitis C and a liver toxicixisity that went to his brain causing him to do things he would not normally do, like start making food in the kitchen, that didn't make any sense, mixing top ramen, with brown stuff what looked like melted chocolate ice cream. Not very appetizing. He often fell asleep during conversations. And fell asleep even while standing, leaning on a table. He has been suffering multiple flash backs to his past life of drugs and rage, and then took these out on his wife, and went to jail. His wife has been unable to visit him in the hospital due to a current restraining order which expires tommorrow. You cannot make someone realize they have a problem. You are taking to the drug. He/ she may sound like they want to change, but my friend here is in his late 50's, and has had lots of time to change his habits, but choose not to, so now, he is going to die. The best thing you can do is get them to go to treatment, to be de toxified. This is a time in this persons life that is going to be very bad for he/ she, as withdrawl symptoms are often rage, confusion, and physical violence. Methadone is more less the legal form of Herion. So your friend was probably a herion user before the methadone. Methadone comes if pill form and is much easier to ingest, and more descreet than "shooting up. " Or even smoking it.
