I really want to help her but I'm literally hundreds of miles away. I really hate what heroin has done to her. Because of the drug, she has turned into a person that I barely know. It's a good thing that she's willing to change now, and I just really want to help her. Hearing her agonizing about her situation over the phone just tears my heart. Help please.

I have included links below that you or her can check out. You can also ask her to go to the hospital and have herself detoxed or get recommendations from doctors on which treatment center would be best for her. If she needs to talk to somebody about this, somebody who could enlighten her more, she could call a helpline, 800-559-9503. They can also give her advice and point some addiction treatment centers in her direction. It's really nice of you to be so concerned about your best friend. Just continue on being there for her because she sure needs a lot of support, especially at times like this. I'll keep you both in my prayers, and good luck!
