Hello troy, glad too see your off the dawg man. so many people will be rude about your honesty, but i commend you for making off of that stuff. my neice is hooked on tar right now, i did not learn of this till she robbed my wallet lol... but as far as your jaw, you may not have had anyone hit you around you jaw area but thats not the only thing too cause jaw pain. when we play sports like bball we are breathing heavy and we are moving our jaw open wide and closing like grinding our teeth. i had the same problem when playing football and i thought it was my mouthpiece etc.. but what i learned is that my jaw alignment was way off and in fact crooked from TMJ. tmj was one of many issues that causes everything fr an uneven bite too pain in the jaw etc.. in sports we stretch the jaw muscles and strain them in the course of competition and if things are uneven by genetics or prior fractures etc then that area will be moved in an uneven manner repeatedly. we do stress our muscles whether facial or jaw in the course of play and or we have our mouths open constantly for air as we gasp more air when playing. you should go see a dentist or specialist too x ray your jaw, i bet a dental xray would pick up the misalignment is what they would term that etc... and if you are bothered by it you can try a mouthpiece too keep your jaw from moving so much while playing... get a pro opinion im betting TMJ is the culuprit which is basically an uneven jaw/ bite.... good luck! stay strong bro your a survivor man.... |
