OK LONG post but my main question are in last paragraph. Details in post.So ive been off Oxycotin for more then 2 years now, after about 8 years of doing them only the last 3 4 were bad.Well I've been on Suboxone for the last 3 4 years. I've had a heart condition since i was young and they're finally doing surgery on it VALVE REPLACEMENT . It was supposed be in Feb and at that time i was still on 2mg of subs. They told me i needed to stop doing them for surgery a week before. So i tried and it wasn't too bad, stomach problems and it got pretty bad at night. My doctor prescribed me 10 5mg pills of methadone, but i didn't take them then because they moved the surgery to April 4th. So i cut down as much as i could down to .5mg went 2 days without and couldn't sleep for shit, bad legs cramps and the runs. After plenty of research about methadone and seeing everyones horror stories, i decided to try it, took half a pill and less than 3 hours later fell into a deep sleep and felt great waking up. I never got high from it and never took more than about 3mgs a day. for almost 2 weeks. It was only going to be one week but they rescheduled again to April 26th.I wasnt sure what to do because I didn't have enough methadone to last to the 26th and wasn't sure about going back on suboxone. I hear you have to wait anywhere from 24 hours to a week. I have taken subs plenty of times after other opiates and have gotten high just 12 hours after taking subs and never go that particapated WDs. But i never took methadone before. And I know everyone is different.This week went back to the dentist for i had problems with bone sticking out of a wisdom tooth they pulled. She gave my Tylenol 3. I took what was going to be my last methadone on sunday right at midnight about 1mg. decided to take it again so I wouldn't feel like shit from the dentist and knew i was most likely getting pain meds, so wasn't doing subs. So more than 30 hours later i took another 2 mgs and the morning of the apt. i took another 1mg at 5am this past Wednesday .Waited til night to take the Tylenol3. Didn't work as good as the Vikoden. And taking more then 1 fucks with my stomach.So basically my first question is, would this be the methadone making the Codeine not work as good. today it does feel better after taking one this morning.Also how long before i can take another suboxone. Cuz if i still feel shitty Im going to take .5 1mg of suboxone until week before surgery and then use the last 2 and a half Methadones for that week.Sorry for the long post I just cant find answers I'm looking for everything else is about HUGE doses of DONES and SUBS, and everyone has different stories. Will the Methadone be out of my system by Sunday because thats the day I after i run out of the Tylenol 3sAnd i know I've been doing such a small dose of these drugs these past 2 months, but i still feel crappy, mainly at night, and I'm going to be on more meds after surgery so why go threw the shittyness if its just going to happen again?How long do i have to wait before taking subs after taking methadone 2 4mg a day for 2 weeks ?Can methadone lessen the effect of Tylenol 3's? not the euphoria feeling just pain part.

Help im on methadone and pregnant...what do i do and what's going to happen?
Okay I've been on methadone for about two and a half Weeks now i just found out I'm pregnant and don't know what to do. I was originally in the 21 day detox, started at 40 mg and am currently on 30. the thing is that my doc wants to up my dose back to 40 mg and put me on maintenance. Help I'm very scared First of all i don't want my baby to go through the awful withdrawals, and secondly i don't want to be addicted to methadone either by the time my baby is born. I'm in California btw someone please help me any advice is welcome i just want to make the right choice for my baby...

How long does it take to kick 275mg dayly methadone used for over 5 years?
I was a Heroin addict for 7 years, but about 4 or 5 years ago i got on Methadone and now i do noe illegal drugs. without the methadone i would most likely still be useing,. But now the drug lifestyle is way behind me, with about four years completely clean. I am on a HUGE dose, 275mg a day. THe people at the clinic i go to know nothing about getting off, they are just concerned with people staying on so they can make more money . they tell me it could be two years or more, but i felt like they just want me to pay for it for another two years. Is this the normal time to kick methadone after 5 years of methadone and before that 7 years of black tar Heroin??

Is it methadone withdrawl?
My boyfriend came off of the methadone program 7 days ago after being down to 1ml. He was doing great having very little withdrawal symptoms. Last night before bed he started feeling really crappy then all night he was puking and had severe diarrhea... hes still not able to keep even water down this morning and feels really weak... could this be the withdrawals or a flu?

How can i help my mom who is withdrwaling from 50 mg of methadone?
my mother is now on her 6th day of withdrawls and is still filling anxiety i have been giving her xanax 0.05 mg about 2 a day i dont know if this is bad for her can some one please help?.. how long will shebe feeling like this someone help please.we do not have money for rehabs or doctors is there any where she can go for reasonable price. she dose not want to go o the doctors is the xanax making it worse?

well ok lets get it out there and in the open, im 22, 4 months pregnant, and on methadone for opiate addiction for last 5 yrs. im on 92mg, went up from 60 because as i expected my normal dose wasnt holding me while pregnant. but now its not holding me thru the morning now and all i want to do is just get high. but i wont do that cuz its been a very long time and i was starting to get off the clinic when i found out i was pregnant, but they wont let me detox pregnant. im just very annoyed that i go up and then a week later i feel like crap again. just idk what to do and im really not to fond of going up so high on my dose, the people at the clinic wont help, just ready to put my dose up. i just dont know what to do and how to get over these feelings, i havent felt like this in 4 years

I'm prescribed methadone, and i took 5 of them 7 hours before my drug test. They will show up in my system right?? It goes to lab.

Will 20-30 milligrams of Methadone be fatal?
Someone I know took about 20 30mgs of Methadone liquid . They also took 7.5mg of hydrocodone a couple of hours before the methadone. Could they overdose? If this is a fatal amount, how long will it take for the symptoms of over dosage to appear?
