I have lupus and I took 5mg for the first time ever so no need to lecture me. I usually use medical marijuana for pain because pain killers usually make me sick. I took 5 mg at 3 pm and want to go out to the bar with a friend that just graduated. Is that a problem?

I know that heroin is not a problem that is limited to the western countries, although it is much worse there. ok i was on methadone 70mg for about 5 months, then i needed to switch over to suboxone, so they had to get me off the methadone by cutting me off by 10mg a day till i hit 30mg and that was it, now i feel more sick. last night i was having mild seizures, i was burning up but frezzing on the outside, would it be best to switch back over to heroin b4 i go to suboxone or what should i do, and is what happened to me normal and or what should i do if it happens again answer all 3 for 10 points

Will lowering the dose of methadone help alleviate constipation?
I am on methadone and have severe constipation. The clinic nurse said I would have to significantly reduce the dose 70 80 % over time to get relief. I understand that it is long acting and builds up in your system but is that accurate? There would be no relief after going down 15 20 mg? Thanks

I am 42 years old and have dab led with drugs all my adult life from downers to uppers but for the last 2 years Iv got myself totally addicted to heroin ,Iv try ed many methods to try and kick the Habit to no avail . Everything from cold turkey counselling groups to detox programs ,Iv literally spent a fortune .I have now came to the conclusion that a methadone program is my last hope,I no many will disagree but some things work for some people and some don't The problem in my area of Scotland seems to come down to funding ,If you are considerd by a prescibing team not your gp I may add this could take up to a year which I think is a bit much ,many people with a bad habit could be dead within a year .I now Im going to get people replying to my quesion with very negative veiws but not all drug addics are thievs and criminals I my self have ajob and do not curantly have a criminal record but all this could change for the sake of priscibing me the apropriet medication .Is there any way round this system or am I just going to have to go down hill rapidly .I have a wife and 2 young children that I adore and my wife has stuck by me but she cant take much more and both my kids know nothing about my habit but for how much longer I dont know ,one is 12 and the other 8 ,any help would be greatly apreciated .Please no negative replys such as get a life you junky or methadones not the answer I know what I would like to try as Iv tryed most other avenues .THANKS FOR LISTNING TO MY PROBLEMS

I have been on the methadone clinic for 9 years and have came off of 120mg to 50 mg.then on my own with my last week supply cut it in half to about 25mg for a wk and a 1 2 it has been 14 days with just a little change Although i do have some improvement its still sleepless night pains and no energy sneezing diarrhea etc when does this all go away and is taking the Tylenol 3 hurting or helping?whatever else options,suggestions,opinions helpful hints etc will be VERY APPRECIATED It seems as if it will never end and i feel depressed and like a weigh a ton its hard to eat etc what do i do to continue on this mission because i cant wait to finally be clean at my age 30 ive been addicted for the last 14 years half my life so many people think its all in my head? can someone please help

How can I quit methadone/heroin "cold turkey", without being too sick to live normally?
I was using heroin, then decided to get clean, so I got on methadone. I've been on methadone for over a year, and decided I wanted to quit this too. So, once I got down to 25mgs. I quit taking the methadone. I made it 2 days, then on the third day I was too sick, so I decided to do some heroin. Back to square one So, my question is... is there anyone out there that can give me some pointers that have actually been there, done that?
